WHY DON'T WE JUST SURRENDER ANYWAY?

Evil prevails when good men do nothing.  

When you read this the killings by criminals at the school in Littleton, Colorado, will still be fresh in your mind. You will have noticed that CNN and others just the day after the shootings pulled out their old files on the shootings in England by an adult that killed a bunch of little kids. That shooting resulted in the total ban of handguns in England, and that is the hope of the Anti-Constitution "Special Agenda" people in our country. The major difference is that England never had gun rights, we do.

Back then England was ruled by a king or queen and that form of government did not want citizens having guns; look what those "pesky colonist" in America did when they got them- they became free. Our founding fathers realized after writing our Constitution they just set up a government with powers similar to the one they just fought and got liberated from. So they wrote the Bill of Rights unlike the constitution, protects our individual's rights. It's important you remember the Constitution establishes and protects our government and the people's collective rights but the Bill of Rights protects individual's rights. Do yourself a favor get a copy and read it.

The Second Amendment of that Bill of Rights insures your right to have personal guns. It does not grant the right; it affirms it is an inherent right and that government can't interfere with that inherent right. The reason the Second Amendment exist is to maintain an armed citizenry to go against the government should it need to be replaced. It isn't there for hunting or target shooting. It is there so citizens can protect life, liberty and justice as defined by the constitution. 

Many of you gun owners are thinking "something" should be done. So what would you do? Outlaw shotguns? They were used at the school.Outlaw 9mm carbines? They were used at the school. Outlaw pistols? They were used at the school. Outlaw pipes, propane, nails, tape,, and bailing wire? They were used in over 50 bombs at the school.  Outlaw cars? They were used to move all of the supplies for the attack. Just where do we stop? How about another gun law. YEAH, that would help wouldn't it? Do we expect killers and criminals to obey the over 20,000 gun laws? ( no! that's why they are criminals, DUHHHH). There was nothing that could have been done to really stop this, nothing! At least nothing in a free country.

However, regardless of your thoughts on the matter, I assure you the anti-gun anti-Second Amendment people are after your rights. If you entertain any hope whatsoever to keep your freedom to own firearms you can do something about it, and now more than ever you had better Join the NRA today. 

Once you are afraid of being a member of what ever group you wish, you have by the definition surrendered that First Amendment right too. It's interesting, many of you reading this may be police officers or military. Many of you have put your life on the line against hostile fire. Yet you won't join the only organization which can really protect your Second Amendment rights because it might put your name on a list. Who would have that list? The Chinese Communist, hit men for a foreign government? No, the worse that could happen is your own government would have it. Now, if you are afraid of your own government, you already have surrendered your Constitutional Rights-- haven't you? Remember, evil prevails when good men do nothing.
